San Diego Asian Film Festival 2008

'Follow the Signs' takes the classic 60's and 70's Sci Fi film out for a fresh spin. When Billy Kim's arrow sign spinning comrades begin mysteriously disappearing from suburbia, he is not concerned for their safety as are the local news and police. He's actually convinced that they have been abducted by aliens from another planet. At least that is his hope. Once his best friend Frank and the neighborhood bully Kyle goes missing too, Billy knows he must do something to increase his own chance for abduction. Ultimately, Billy follows the sign and uses his own arrow sign to flag down the spacecraft, and he finds himself in the place he dreamed of and better. The hot extra terrestrial babes he had so longingly hoped to encounter are turned on by their skills and quickly take them to celebrity status.
