To be or not to be... an actor. If you have asked yourself that question or if you want to improve your craft, this interactive workshop will help you get started. Presented by the San Diego Asian American Repertory Theater (SDAART), you will get practical advice from local experts on the acting biz, agents, auditions, and headshots. Also, meet and hear from special guest, comedian/actor Randall Park, who has appeared in numerous television commercials and hit shows including MadTV, Cold Case, Eli Stone, and ER. (He also stars in The People I’ve Slept With, which premieres at this year’s SDAFF)

ABOUT SDAART
San Diego Asian American Repertory Theatre is a professional, non-profit performing arts organization. SDAART's mission is to create theatrical productions that celebrate the Pacific Asian American experience, present fresh perspectives on traditional works, and further educate adult and youth theatre artists in their craft. Over almost 15 years, SDAART has produced 33 plays including 4 world premieres. SDAART recently won the prestigious Pon Award presented by the National Association of Ethnic Studies for its “wonderful history and collection of theater works that present Asian American culture with bounty and beauty.” For more info: www.asianamericanrep.org
